About This Special Issue
The use of nanomaterials has been a growing topic in research and the results obtained are promising. The performance of nanocomposites is better explained by microstructural analysis where it is possible to understand forms of nucleation, growth and especially dispersion in the matrix. This topic aborts research on the inclusion of nanomaterials and the results obtained by microstructural analysis such as electron microscopy, thermal analysis, porosity analysis, nanoindentation, mechanical and electrical behavior tests, among others. The analysis of materials after the inclusion of nanoparticles from different sources with success in different types of matrices and different methods should be addressed.
This topic is dedicated to the presentation of research that address microstructural analysis in the use of nanomaterials in different matrices and inclusion methods. It is desired that research address from the production process, analysis techniques.
Are expected research dedicated to the microstructural analysis such as:
(1) Electron microscopy of nanomaterials and nanocomposites;
(2) Thermal analysis;
(3) Porosity analysis;
(4) Nanoindentation;
(5) Mechanical and electrical behavior tests;
(6) Others microstructural features.
This topic presents an opportunity for researchers to present their scientific contributions on the subject.
